The unofficial end of summer will wrap up on a pleasant note. Temperatures will start off cool but climb into the upper 70s by the afternoon, with dry and sunny conditions continuing throughout the day. Fair weather will stick around through Labor Day and into Tuesday as well.

It’s gameday, Irish fans! If you're heading to—or already in—Miami, dress lightly and don't forget a poncho or umbrella. Expect warm, steamy conditions by kickoff, with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Rain chances should taper off a bit closer to game time, but keep that rain gear close.

Back at home, rain returns by midweek. A cold front will move through, bringing widespread showers and a few rumbles of thunder. The best chance for rain will be from Wednesday afternoon into the overnight hours. While no severe weather is expected at this time, gusty winds are possible.

If you're looking for that fall feeling again, get those sweaters ready—temperatures will drop nearly 20 degrees from Wednesday to Thursday as the front moves through. Highs will only reach the 60s, with lows dipping well into the 40s. Temperatures will gradually rebound heading into next weekend.

Today: Sunny and pleasant. warmer. High 78.

Tonight: Cool, mostly clear. Low 51.

Labor Day: Mostly sunny, warm. High 80

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, warm. High 82
