Plymouth Fire Department's new truck dedicated to fallen firefighters

PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- Plymouth Fire Department received its new fire engine, a 2024 Pierce Velocity pumper, dedicated to five firefighters who died tragically on July 31, 1982.

Plymouth firefighters, Al Kriscunas, Dane Hoffhien, Randy Hansen, Brian Samuels, and Gary Van Vactor died in a traffic accident while responding to a house fire.

The new firetruck, named Engine 82, was delivered on the 42nd anniversary of the accident.
