MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department reports they and the Division of Child Services received information about a 3-year-old girl who'd sustained a facial injury.

Authorities say the injury appeared to be non-accidental, suspicious, or inconsistent with explanation.

An arrest warrant was subsequently issued for 33-year-old Kevin Corona of Plymouth.

Following an investigation, Corona was arrested and charged for Neglect of a Dependent, Resulting in Bodily Injury, a Level 5 Felony.

Corona was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

He was given a $10,000 cash bond.
