SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Pokagon Band and its Four Winds Casinos employees donated Christmas food boxes to those in need for the 13th year on Tuesday.
They do this distribution three times a year at different locations across Michiana on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
Scott Brewer, Senior Vice President Government Affairs and Community Relations for Four Winds Casinos, said, "So today, what we're doing is here at the Northern Indiana Food Bank. We're delivering 200 meals from the Four Winds Casinos just at this location. We're doing 1000 throughout the region."
They handed out 200 food boxes at the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, with each box including a turkey, a pumpkin pie, stuffing, sweet corn, cranberries, and mashed potatoes.
