Pokagon Fund to pay to dredge New Buffalo harbor

NEW BUFFALO, Mich. -- On Wednesday, the City of New Buffalo got some good news about its harbor!
Money from the Pokagon Fund will pay to dredge the Galien River Channel.
The Pokagon Fund Board approved the request for up to $150,000 and the city got notification Wednesday morning.
The city feared without dredging, boats would not be able to navigate the harbor safely.
