Police and fire presence on S.R. 23

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Police and fire personnel are at S.R. 23, just south of the Indiana Toll Road, for reports of a gas smell at a vacant home, St. Joseph County Dispatch confirmed.
Police and fire presence were requested at 1:37 p.m. Friday afternoon by Nipsco.
Lanes are not closed off but please avoid the area.
