Police arrest 18-year-old for attempted murder

Police arrested an 18-year-old man for attempted murder on Saturday following a shooting that occurred in Elkhart on October 17th.
Elkhart Police arrested Rasheed McDavis after he allegedly shot 20-year-old Maurice Graves multiple times at 620 McDonald Street.
At approximately 10:19 p.m. on October 17th, Graves was allegedly shot by McDavis in the arm, leg, and buttocks and was transported to Memorial Hospital where he was treated for the non-life threatening injuries.
McDavis will be held in the Elkhart County Correctional Facility without bond.
