Police asking for tips in shooting at Hickory Village apartments

Mishawaka Police are asking for the public's help locating the person who shot a man at the Hickory Village apartments on Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to the complex on Hickory Road at approximately 12:30 p.m. to investigate reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found Isaiah Mitchell, 22, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Mitchell was taken to the hospital and is stable.

Police say the suspects were seen leaving the apartment complex in a dark colored older model sedan with writing on the rear windshield.
