Police crackdown on dangerous drivers
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka Police are warning drivers to driver sober or get pulled over.
Officers are cracking down on drunk and dangerous drivers with operation Pull-Over blitz.
There will be extra police on the road and DUI check-points.
With schools getting back in session and football season about to kick off, police say drivers need to be careful.
"Let’s do the right thing; use a designated driver call for a taxi, which will be a lot cheaper than being arrested for drunk driving, a lot cheaper than paying those attorney fees, and a lot better than having to worry about being arrested after killing someone while you're driving drunk, " said Lieutenant Tim Williams.
Operation Pull-Over runs through Labor Day weekend.
