Police, deputies on scene of shooting in Elkhart

Elkhart Police responded to a shooting in the area of Malcolm Drive and Homer Avenue in Elkhart just before noon Tuesday.
According to Elkhart Police, a man was found in a Ford Explorer in the parking lot of Bannerker Heights Family Site suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The man was taken to Elkhart General Hospital where he died.
The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Joshua Shaw. Police say he had multiple gunshot wounds.
An autopsy will be conducted on Wednesday.
