Police determine false threat after Plymouth High School is placed on lockdown

PLYMOUTH, Ind. - Students and staff at Plymouth High School were placed on lockdown Tuesday afternoon after police received word of a threat outside the building. Plymouth Police later confirmed that threat was not legitimate.

The lockdown began at 2:04 p.m. and was lifted at 2:19 p.m.

The original report given to police said there was a person with a gun in a vehicle in the high school’s parking lot.

Police checked the area and found nothing. No threat was made to the school.
