Police find two dead in a home on Myrtle Road

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – Two people were found deceased after St. Joseph County Police were called to a home on Myrtle Road on Saturday.
Philip A. Wilmes, 81, and Barbara J. Wilmes, 80, were found with apparent gunshot wounds.
Police were dispatched around 3:40 a.m. regarding a welfare check.
St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit will continue to handle this investigation.
Autopsy procedures have been scheduled for Monday.
