Police hope autopsy will shed light on death investigation at Churchill Downs

LOUISVILLE -- Police hope that an autopsy can shed some light on the death investigation at Churchill Downs.

The body of 48-year-old Adan Fabian Perez was found on Sunday morning, only hours after the Kentucky Derby.

Police said he worked and lived on the grounds.

A security worker found his body, less than 400-feet from where derby winner "I'll Have Another" was stabled.

Right now, police don't have any suspects, but they don't think the death is connected to the derby.
