Police investigating armed robbery at South Bend business

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—A South Bend business was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday morning, according to police.

Police responded to the Family Dollar in the 3600 block of Edison Road around 9:37 a.m. for reports of an armed robbery.

According to detectives, a black male entered the business wearing a ski mask while armed with a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect took cash from the business and left the area.

The incident remains under investigation.
