Police investigating armed robbery of Napier Shell gas station

BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Napier Shell gas station that happened early Monday morning, according to Benton Township Police.
The armed robbery happened around 3 a.m.
Police spoke with the clerk who said a man who was wearing all gray with a hoodie and a face mask displayed a gun and demanded cash from the register.
The suspect then fled the scene.
A Michigan State Police K9 unit attempted to track the subject, but they were unsuccessful.
