FULTON COUNTY, Ind.— Four people were injured following a crash a vehicle and passenger bus in Fulton County, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office reported.
At 1:10 p.m. Monday afternoon, police were notified of a motor vehicle crash on U.S. Hwy 31 at the intersection of Southway 31.
An initial crash investigation found that a 2008 Gold Cadillac DTS was traveling northbound on Old U.S. 31 approaching U.S. 31.
The Cadillac stopped and crossed the southbound lane entering the crossover. It then crossed the northbound lane and hit a 2018 White Ford 15-passenger bus, with Kentucky registration, that was also traveling northbound on U.S. 31.
The passenger vehicle was occupied by a driver and 13 passengers.
The driver of the Cadillac, an 18-year-old from Macy, was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
The driver of the Cadillac was issued a citation for failure to yield.
The driver of the passenger bus, a 64-year-old from Lexington, Kentucky, was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
Two 17-year-olds in the passenger bus were also injured in the crash. One of the teenagers was airlifted to a local hospital for his injuries.
