Police investigating Elkhart shooting Monday night

ELKHART, Ind. – The Elkhart Police have confirmed there has been a shooting in Elkhart in the 700 block of Taylor Street. The call came into dispatch at 6 p.m. Monday night.

Police on the scene found a 25-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the neck and chest.

Medical attention was provided by officers until the paramedics arrived.

According to Police, the man was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Currently there is no suspect for the shooting.
