Police investigating fight, shots fired at Miami Hills

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating multiple incidents at the Miami Hills Apartment complex.

Police went to the complex Wednesday morning to investigate a sexual assault that occurred overnight.

While at the complex investigating, a large fight broke out and shots were fired, according to police.

As a result, Stanley Clark and Monroe Elementary schools were on lockdown as a precaution during the investigation. The lockdowns have since been lifted.

No injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire.
