Police investigating missing Stevensville man suffering from dementia

UPDATE: Roy was located by the Berrien County Sheriff's Department at 1:10 a.m. near the corner of Snow and Holden Roads. He had walked approximately eight miles from where he was last seen. He was extremely cold and wet, so he was transported from the scene to the hospital. 

ORIGINAL: BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Lincoln Township Police Department is asking for help in finding Paul A. Roy, an 81-year-old man who went missing today.

On Tuesday at 4 p.m., he told his family that he was going for a walk and drew a map to indicate his intended route.

He was last seen walking west on John Beers Road near Hiawatha.

He was wearing a gray hoodie, charcoal pants, and blue tennis shoes.

He is five foot and ten inches with gray hair.

He suffers from Dementia.

His family contacted the police department at 7:20 p.m. when he had not returned from his walk.
