Police investigating overnight shooting in Berrien Springs

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. -- Police in Berrien Springs are investigating an overnight shooting.
It happened at an apartment complex on North Main Street near George Avenue around 12:45 Friday morning. They say one person was shot and is in critical condidtion at Lakeland Regional in St. Joseph.
Police are now trying to figure out if the shooting was accidental or if the person shot themself. Crime scene technicians have been on the scene all morning.
