Police investigating potential threat to Clay International Academy
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating a potential threat against Clay International Academy that was posted on social media.
The principal sent a letter to parents on Monday to let them know they were aware of the the messages and that they are working with police to investigate.
Administrators said there would be increased security until the investigation is complete.

We have become aware of messages circulating on social media discussing a potential threat to our school, and are working with the South Bend Police Department to investigate the origins of the posts. Please know that we will have increased security for the remainder of the day and until we have
The safety of our students is our highest priority. Please speak with your student about notifying a teacher or administrator if they sense or hear of any threat to their safety or the safety of others. Any individual making false statements and spreading false information will be held accountable to the fullest extent.
