Police investigating shooting after victim dropped off at hospital

South Bend Police were called to a local hospital Thursday night after a gunshot victim was taken to the emergency room.

Police were called to the hospital around 6:50 p.m. and spoke with the male victim who had been shot four times in the legs. The injuries are non-life threatening.

The victim was dropped off by a woman driving a silver GMC Envoy with Michigan plates. She was not at the hospital when police arrived.

Detectives are still gathering details about the shooting.
