Police investigating shooting at gas station in Goshen; suspect taken into custody

After closure in 2020, YMCA reopens in downtown
GOSHEN, Ind. – Dispatch confirmed that a shooting happened around 4:26 p.m. Sunday at the Speedway located on the corner of US Highway 20 and State Road 15 in Goshen.
Officials say that a 34-year-old male suspect is in custody.
The extent of the victim’s injuries is not yet known. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police say the victim is a 41-year-old male, but they have yet to release his identity.
The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.
