Police investigating two robbery reports involving four juveniles

ELKHART, Ind.—Two incidents involving a robbery and attempted robbery in Elkhart are being investigated by juvenile detectives.

On December 14 at 8:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to a Pizza Hut at 103 Concord Mall Drive in regards to an attempted robbery in the 2900 block of Benham Avenue.

A Pizza Hut delivery driver reported that as he was finishing a delivery, four juvenile males approached him with a long blunt object.

The victim said that the suspects told him that he did not belong on their block and to give them his belongings.

The victim drove off before giving over any of his belongings.

That same night, at 9:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to 3003 Benham Avenue in regards to a robbery report.

The victim reported that he was walking to his vehicle when four juvenile males approached him and demanded money.

The juveniles were also holding a long blunt object.

The suspects took cash and fled on foot afterwards.

A K-9 unit was able to track to a location where four juveniles were located.

No arrests have been made at this time.
