Police investigating University Park Mall burglaries

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka police are investigating two burglaries at the University Park Mall.

According to a police report, someone pried open an outside door near the Buckle. The thieves took two plasma TV’s from the Naked Gadgets kiosk, along with all of the cash in the register.

Saturday there was another theft, this time at the U.S. Cellular kiosk. Employees told police 52 smart phones were snatched.

They were worth about $20,000.
