Police looking for suspect in armed robbery of woman sitting in car

MISHAWAKA, Ind.—The Mishawaka Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on April 22.

According to police, a 22-year-old woman was sitting in her vehicle in the 400 block of Spring Lake Blvd. around 12:30 a.m. when a man walked up to her with a gun and took her purse.

Police describe the suspect as a tall, thin male who was wearing a black hoodie at the time of the incident.

No injuries were reported.

Police are still searching for the suspect who is described as a tall, thin black male wearing a black hoodie.
