Police looking into cause of death for man found along US 31

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- Local police are trying trying to determine what killed a man found lying on the side of U.S. 31 early Thursday morning.
A driver saw the man lying along the highway near Roosevelt road around 3:30 a.m. and called police.
The coroner says foul play does not appear to be involved and an autopsy was scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
The 44-year-old victim has not been identified.
