Police need warrant to search phones

The Supreme Court ruled that police must have a warrant to search personal mobile devices like cell phones.
The Justices said smart phones and other devices were not in the same category as wallets and vehicles.
The use of a warrant to search these phones will ensures any potential evidence police encounter will be admissible in court.
