Police release photo of car used in series of armed robberies

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- St. Joseph County Police have released a photo of a car believed to have been used by three suspects in a series of armed robberies that happened late Monday evening in the Granger area and the Elkhart County line.

The suspects are described as

• Suspect 1: African American male, tall, thin build, short hair.
• Suspect 2: African American male, short, thin build with shoulder length dread locks.
• Suspect 3: African American female, short, heavy set.

The suspects displayed handguns during the robberies.

The vehicle is believed to be that of the suspects. It is possibly a gold or gray Dodge Stratus.
