MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Police responded to the scene of an apparent bomb threat at University Park Mall on Tuesday, the Mishawaka Police Department reported.
The call came in at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday evening.
The threat was made over the telephone, police said.
Police assisted UP Mall Security in evacuating shoppers from the mall following the threat.
Officers searched the mall after shoppers evacuated and did not find any suspicious packages or devices.
The mall will stay closed for the rest of the day.
No arrests have been made and no injuries have been reported, police said.
