Police respond to Lighthouse Premium Outlets as Michigan City gets curfew

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind.—Police were called to Lighthouse Premium Outlets in Michigan City on Sunday night.

Officers at the scene said that people coming from protests earlier in the day in Michigan City were in the outlet mall.

Law enforcement officials said they are working to get people out of the mall.

Michigan City Police Department said that the mayor has issued an executive order that imposes a curfew on the city.

The curfew went into effect at 9 p.m. It was unclear when the curfew will end.
