Police respond to reports of shots fired in South Bend

South Bend Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Donald Street Monday, just before 5 p.m.
Witnesses said two men were sitting on a porch when 2 or 3 young men walked up and asked for change.
That's when the witnesses told police the young men fired shots.
The shots struck two vehicles.
The men who allegedly fired the shots were apprehended a short time later.
One was arrested for possession of drugs, according to police.
