Notre Dame not overlooking their 1-8 opponent in primetime matchup
ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police Department responded to three separate shootings over the course of two and a half hours on Wednesday.
The violent day started with a shooting at 3 p.m. on West Lexington Avenue, where bullets struck a car and home in the area.
Police were then called to a shooting on East Boulevard at around 5:30 p.m. and found a woman with a gunshot wound to her leg.
Shots were also fired around 5:30 p.m. on Portmouth Drive, when an unidentified gunman shot a man in the ankle.
All of the investigations are ongoing and no suspects have been arrested in each of the three shootings.
