SOUTH BEND, Ind. — St. Joseph County officials say one man, 35-year-old Tolies Word Jr., was killed in a shooting Saturday at 1:15 a.m.
The shooting happened at the former Elva's Fiesta Club on W. Indiana Avenue near Prairie Avenue.
Another man, 32, was treated and released from South Bend Memorial Hospital.
The case has been turned over to the St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit.
Police do not have a suspect.
