SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a reported shooting in the 4700 block of Belleville Circle Monday afternoon.
A call came in at 2:30 p.m. reporting the shooting.
Police confirmed one individual suffered gunshot wounds and later died after being transported to the hospital.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until next of kin have been notified.
