Police searching for bank robbery suspect, schools on lockdown

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Two schools were placed on soft lockdown after a robbery at the CommunityWide Federal Credit Union on Lincolnway East in Goshen.

The robbery happened Tuesday at 9:38 a.m.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing jeans, a gray sweatshirt and a blue Dodgers hat.

He displayed a handgun and demanded money from employees. He then took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot from the rear entrance in an unknown direction.

None of the employees were injured in the incident.

The two Goshen schools in close proximity of the bank have were placed on soft lockdown until approximately 11:30 a.m.
