Police searching for poachers who killed deer in Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. – Police say they are searching for suspects responsible for killing a deer illegally on Sunday.

Evidence shows that a deer was killed near the area of 100 South and 450 East between Warsaw and Pierceton.

Conservation Officers say the animal was shot with an arrow between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

This offense is illegal because the season for deer hunting in Indiana ended on January 5.

Conservation Officers ask that anyone with information call their poacher hotline at 1-800-TIP-IDNR.
