Police searching for suspect in fatal hit and run

St. Joseph County and South Bend Police are investigating what they believe is a possible hit and run crash Saturday that left one person dead.
Police said the man's body was found along the south side of Ireland Road, east of Keria Trail around 10 p.m.
Police say the investigation shows that the accident may have happened overnight.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (FACT) and St. Joseph County Police, according to the St. Joseph County Prosecutors Office.
The victim was identified as John C. Tolley, 54, of South Bend.
