Police seeking armed robbery suspects

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Police are searching for two suspects in the armed robbery of the BP gas station on M139 early Tuesday morning, according to the Berrien Springs Oronoko Township Police Department.

According to police, at 2:52 a.m., two men with handguns walked into the business and demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk gave the men an undetermined amount of cash. Then the clerk was forced to lie down on the ground.

No other customers were in the store at the time of the robbery.

Police say the first suspect is a black male, 5’8” to 5’10”, thin build wearing a block hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans, black and white tennis shoes, and a black bandana around his face.
The second suspect is a white male 5’8” to 5’10”, with a heavy build, wearing grey sweat pants with blue underwear showing, a blue hooded sweatshirt, and a blue and white bandana on his face.

Berrien County Sheriff’s deputies used a K-9 to try to track the suspects but were unsuccessful.
