Police take 2 people for evaluation, standoff in South Bend ends

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police and the SWAT team were called to a home in the 1900 block of West Sample Street Monday afternoon after a 9-1-1 call about a home invasion.
The caller told police he was upstairs and he believed someone had entered his home downstairs.
Police arrived and found two people in the home, including the 9-1-1 caller.
The two young males were taken to a medical facility for evaluation.
Police do not believe there was a home invasion.
