Pop-up shops back in downtown South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Christmas is still a few months away, but “tis’ the season” for merchants to apply for empty downtown store fronts.

South Bend’s holiday pop-up shop program is back.  Four retailers will be offered no-cost, short-term leases.

They are chosen based on product and holiday shopper appeal.  Applications will be accepted through Oct. 7.
