Pope canonizes 7 new saints

VATICAN CITY -- Pope Benedict XVI canonized seven new saints, including the first-ever Native American.

Nearly 80,000 pilgrims made their way to St. Peter's Square for the announcement Sunday.

Another saint, also from America, who was recognized is a 19th century Franciscan nun who cared for leprosy patients in Hawaii.
