Portage Avenue lane closure begins July 24

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The northbound lanes on a section of Portage Avenue will close starting Monday for water and sewer work.
The lanes will be closed between Appaloosa Lane and Brick Road.
Southbound traffic will also be restricted to one lane during the work, which is expected to wrap up by July 28.
Northbound traffic will detour east on Cleveland Road, north on Lilac Road and west on Brick before getting back on Portage.
