ABC 57 CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Starting Monday, May 18, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be repairing M-51 for just under two months, MDOT says.
M-5's lanes will be reduced between White Street in Howard Township and Crystal Springs Street in Pokagon Township while repairs are performed between Monday, May 18, and an estimated end date of Friday, July 10.
With the $2.8 million investment, M-51 will use single-lane closures to widen asphalt shoulders, add curve warning signs and center rumble strips, and upgrade guardrails.
