The Potawatomi Zoo opened their gates to visitors on Saturday for the zoo's Winter Day events.
The zoo welcomed over 900 visitors between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The animals were out and excited to have visitors in a winter habitat.
The zoo was also hosting a tie-dye t-shirt craft activity for the youth that attended.
"We have another Winter Day scheduled for the 31st of January, and that's the 'build your own bird feeder day' so the kids can come on in and build their own bird feeder," said Paul Szrom, the Director of Development and Marketing at the Potawatomi Zoo.
