SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Potawatomi Zoo is inviting adults to revisit the wonders of the animal kingdom with its adult day camp program.
Running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the camp offers participants games, crafts, train rides, tours, and hands-on animal experiences. Guests can watch training sessions with Andean bears and even touch a rhino, providing an up-close look at some of the zoo’s most popular animals.
The program is designed to re-engage adults who may have stopped visiting the zoo once their children grew older. Attendance has been strong, organizers said, reflecting growing interest in adult-focused wildlife experiences.
In addition to the camp, the zoo offers year-round classes for adults interested in animals, nature, and conservation.
