SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The Potawatomi Zoo is hosting FrogWatch training on February 29 and March 22 from 2 to 5 p.m.
During the training, volunteers learn about amphibian biology and data collection for sounds of local frogs and toads that is used by scientists all over the country.
Volunteers also learn about how to monitor frog and toad populations based on the calls they hear.
The training is open to the public but advanced registration is requested.
