Potential thunderstorms on the way

Weather blog -- Rain and thunderstorms return this morning, mainly beginning to impact our region around 6:00 AM and lasting through much of the day. More wide spread thunderstorms will move through before noon with storms becoming more scattered during the early afternoon. Storm activity should become more isolated by this evening. All of Michiana is under some degree of threat for severe weather today with most of our region in a 1/5 threat, but southwestern Michiana has been placed under a 2/5 threat. The main risk for today's storm will be damaging winds. Rain and storms will clear out by this evening before a dry start to the work week. Temperatures this week should be much closer to our average temperatures for this time of year, and we'll be starting off the week feeling much more comfortable with low humidity.
