Power line down in South Bend

South Bend Police are on scene of a downed power line in the area of 1800 Prairie Avenue.
Police have blocked off the area while waiting for AEP to fix the line.
South Bend dispatch did not know how the lines came down because they are unaware of any crashes in the area.
AEP’s online outage map says there are 962 customers without power in St. Joseph County.
