ELKHART, Ind. -- Sunday's three alarm fire got so bad the power had to be cut off in downtown Elkhart so crews could stop the blaze!
The fire and outages have now forced the postponement of a scheduled performance Sunday night at the Lerner Theater!
The Lerner is just two blocks away from where the fire broke out.
Early estimates suggested that the power would be turned back on by 12 p.m. Sunday.
But later assessments said they would have to wait until at least the evening for electrical restoration to be safe.
So Sunday night's performance of "Smoke on the Mountain: Homecoming" has been postponed until Monday night.
